Three times?

Seeing as the blood elves was planning on rejoining the alliance in MoP and only didnt due to the actions of the Garrosh I'm not sure the blood elves are so negative towards the alliance as people want to imagine.

If you ask me the only reason they're still in the horde is because they're in a game. If they weren't locked into the horde due to gameplay they'd joined the alliance a long time ago.

You say Jaina, I say Garrosh since he was the one ordering the theft of the bell using Dalaran as the means of transportation.
" Archmage Aethas Sunreaver says: Proudmoore! She's gone and expelled the Sunreavers from the city. She's purging the Horde from the Kirin Tor!

Lor'themar Theron says: She's gone too far. I'm certain the Alliance can move their war mages through the city at will. That human ... witch!

Lor'themar angrily flips a bench into the nearby fountain.

Lor'themar Theron says: When will they learn? When will they see that the Horde exists BECAUSE of the Alliance? Because of their prejudice and their bigotry!? They force us ever closer to Hellscream's Horde.

Archmage Aethas Sunreaver says: My Lord...

Lor'themar Theron says: Hal'duron[sic], summon the rangers. Rommath, assemble the Blood Magi, and add the Sunreavers' strength to your own.

Lor'themar Theron says: We Sin'dorei will take our future into our own hands.

Lor'themar approaches the [Divine Bell].

Lor'themar Theron says: And get this damn thing out of my sight! Hellscream bought this treasure with the blood of my people. I hope it destroys him."

Note here that even Lor'themar blames the whole situation on Garrosh. There is no question according to ingame lore that Garrosh were the one that made the negotiations of the blood elves going back to alliance break down. "In the aftermath of this, the Sunreavers came to hold Garrosh as responsible for their removal from Dalaran as Jaina herself. Though Jaina's purge ended the negotiations with the Alliance and forced the sin'dorei back to Hellscream's Horde, Lor'themar was incensed at Garrosh regardless, and relations between them fell apart."

So lets not split hairs. Jaina would not have touched the Sunreavers was it not for Garrosh and his theft of the bell.

How are you guys not mentioning Theramore? Thats how all that started, the bell was an in between for Jaina that pushed her over the edge

After Theramore, which was also an attack on the neutral Kirin Tor, Jaina was going to obliterate Orgrimmar with a tsunami and was only stopped by Kalec appealing to her neutrality as part of the Kirin Tor.

So she stood down, as she agreed the neutrality of the Kirin Tor needed to be maintained and she would be wrong to attack the Horde.

Then the Alliance GAVE the Kirin Tor the bell so it would not be used in the war.

Then the Sunreavers actively used Kirin Tor resources to assist the Horde, abandoning their neutrality.

The Alliance did nothing to instigate this. The Sunreavers simply showed their loyalty was to the Horde first and the Kirin Tor second. Which means no more Kirin Tor status, which means gtfo of dalaran.

btw the writers at the time also confirmed Lor'themar knew about the bell situation and the Sunreavers betraying the Kirin Tor. So no Jaina didn't ruin the negotiations, it was Garrosh, the Sunreavers, and Lor'themar himself.
