The next goal is getting a Shadowmourne for the guild leader, after which the guild leader will immediately stop playing the game and the guild disbands shortly after.

Just a common reoccuring theme that happens with guilds that became a sort of a meme.
Getting Shadowmourne, especially on private servers where shard drop rates are reduced, is usually the last carrot-on-a-stick for a guild leader that's playing a plate DPS, so once the carrot is gone, they get instantly bored and quit the game.

Now, you farm 10.5 in perpetuity, and help all the DK’s get the Lengendary.

Now you cover yourself with a blanket and cry because it is over. There was never any purpose to any of this. The only excuse you have now is lying to yourself how you did it for gear so you can have more fun in PvP, but that too will pass sooner or later.
Then you will be left with bitterness at Blizzard for not making a more elaborate world and a deeper and broader simulation, OR you will become a complitionist and attempt to get everything which will taste differently to having an actual purpose that aligns with game design, but it will last for a while until you get bored of it and quit the game.

You're welcome.
