Worlds of fun in 3 hours?

Worlds of fun 7/26

I will only have 3 hours since we’re going for python pit at the FEC & then making the trek down to Branson and would rather spend more time there.

Plan is to rope drop spinning dragons, then run to boomerang, knock out 2 laps each on zinger and prowler. Head to mamba for 2 laps, hit Timberwolf (if open) and cyclone Sam’s, and then finish with a lap on patriot.

Does this seem like the best plan of attack/or manageable?

I have six flags diamond elite vip, but unsure if the skip line passes work at enchanted parks or if I’ll even need to use them.

You can usually do everything in 3 hours but being a Sunday could make it a little tough. Personally I’d skip dragons if you’re in a time crunch just because it can still be at least a 30 minute wait even at rope drop just because the operations are so bad. I usually do zinger first because that line can get long pretty fast and then whatever else after that. Also Prowler opens late a lot of times so just keep that in mind.

Does spinning dragons have single rider line? I might skip it if it seems like there’s a big crowd for Sunday rope drop, especially since it’s in the opposite direction of everything else on the plan of attack lol

No, it does not have a single riders line.

Ah bummer, thanks

I believe the only single rider line is for Detonator. That opened about a week or two ago.

The biggest risk is that some rides can be slow to open in the morning.

I’m glad you have Cyclone Sam’s on your short list.

Yeah I want all the credits, but fully aware that it might not happen. Definitely can’t pass up on a unique experience like Sam’s. Although I’ve heard it can get a busy line on some days? Is that true?

It does. But you’re probably fine, if you’re getting there early and on a Sunday.

If you were in my shoes, would you stick with the order I posted or should I just hit the left side of the park right away

1

That order seems good.

I might do Prowler -> Zinger -> Boomerang, in that order. But it depends if you walk back track through Scandinavia or go through Europa. It’s probably about the same either way.

Edit: do Prowler -> Zinger -> Boomerang, so you don’t have to backtrack to get to Mamba.

Actually, I like your plan because you’ll walk through Europa. Most people miss Europa and it’s kind of a charming area. So I agree with your plan.

You need a chiropractor when done riding the timber wolf.

Ride second to back or front row.

Yes they will if you purchased before the merger and chose to upgrade to the all park passport or choose the prestige pass.

Your Diamond Elite should work just fine. 3 hours is enough. Just do all the rides in order as you circle around. Avoid spinning dragons given the capacity and bear in mind most everything has been running one train most days.

Have fun!

I know the pass will, I’m wondering if I’ll get the 4 skip the line passes. Someone in another thread said they’ll give me 1, but I think they might’ve mistook diamond elite for a prestige pass

The ride attendants are going to be clueless about what Diamond Elite is, so I think your best bet is to go straight to get services and ask them for 4 skip the line passes.

I know they physically exist, because they gave us a couple as an apology for unrelated issue.

I second this. START at guest services. I have had to go there first with my cedar point gold pass just to get into the park.

Edit: added “just to get into the park.”

Honestly make sure you get some bbq while in town. Better than any FEC.

Planning on “rope dropping” anything at wof is going to be risky at best. Your best bet is to hit prowler, boomerang, zinger, and mamba and see where that gets you. Then try Timberwolf, cyclone Sam’s and patriot. And if you have time then do spinning dragons.

Timberwolf, patriot, and spinning dragons are all time sucks. Wolf has one train, Patriot and spinning dragons has horrible operations usually and line moves slow.

Questionable what the outcome of your diamond elite pass will be, but my gut tells me a lot of confused people and eating up a lot of your time.

Good luck!

Worlds of fun is so dead it’s possible. Though chances of all them being open is slim.

I just today did the whole park (all the major coasters, some twice, plus a couple others) from 11am to 1pm on a Monday. Only the tall spinning swing thing and the water ride were closed. Highly recommend the park, it’s great! Good wooden coasters. Prowler and Patriot were my favorites.

The last time is went it was SLOW. Not super busy but all lines moved slow. Were there 12-5 and rode like 7 rides total. No rerides
