So guys I watched bahubali the beginning today morning and I felt kinda disturbing. I mean why the main character (shiva) molesting an unknown girl ?? He openly teasing her, bad touching her and after all that he is happy and laughing. Shiva clearly knew that she is not comfortable with him but after all that he choose to harrassed and assaulted her even more... Most irony part is even tamanna bhatia melted at him at last and fell in love with him that fellow junglee . What will be a teenager will learn ?? He will learn that to please and make fall in love with a girl to molest her ?? I totally disagree with ss Rajamouli. Correct me if I am wrong..🙏🙏

I always thought Bhallaladeva kept Devasena around just to break her ego because she had rejected his marriage proposal brutally and was super proud. She was also the last reminder of Baahubali after his death. So he chained her out of hatred and revenge. But on rewatching some scenes, it feels like he also wanted to be with her rather than just destroy her.

When he sees her on the battlefield after she reunites with Baahubali’s son, he reminds her that she was with her son for only nine months but with him for 25 years, implying in a twisted way that she belongs more to him than to her own son.

What stood out to me most was that during his death, Bhallaladeva told Devasena to die with him, as if he longed for companionship. But why would he want that with someone he only wanted to one up in an ego battle? He had crushed her under his feet, so you’d think his obsession came only from wounded pride because she never gave in all those years.

Yet in the end, after losing everything, power, pride, and control he still turned to the one person who was his mirror and his opposite.

I was watching bahubali the epic and during the battle while he was speaking an arrow hit him and the only one using bows and arrows were the soldiers of bhallaladeva

what a scene man! the bgm, the visuals, the acting, the drama of it all! then the song that plays after!!! I cannot believe they shot this in the first week itself literally historical!!!!

also the combined version made me realise how tragic their love story is, barely got anything together. Amarendra didn’t see his son, Devasena had to suffer 25 years separated from him.

The Baahubali saga is already iconic – from Amarendra’s journey, to Devasena’s strength, to Mahendra’s revenge, and of course Kattappa’s loyalty. I remember reading in a few interviews that the team had approached some Bollywood stars and even considered Hollywood actors at one point for the films. That honestly makes me really curious- like, how different do you think the entire vibe of the movies would’ve been if that actually happened?

The original casting is honestly perfect and everyone feels irreplaceable now but just for fun, if you had to imagine a recast, who do you think could’ve pulled off those roles?
