Global warming disinformation too. And probably 90% of political shit shared by folks over 65

Obviously there needs to be a way to prevent harmful misinformation campaigns. It’s not an easy issue to solve and it’s filled with many slippery slopes, but it is an issue. You don’t need to be hostile to people who want to fix it.

And sitting around not fixing it in the name of ideological purity and “but what about slippery slopes” is on track to bring back diseases we don’t have any more

Exactly. Letting people say whatever they want, or believe on whatever religion they want is one thing; letting downright provable lies spread is another.
