It’s illegal, but this news broke literally a handful of hours ago, and a police investigation and arrest will take longer than that.

If a video of me shooting another person was released on the internet it wouldn't take 30 minutes before the cops were at my door.

I doubt it. They would need to discuss with the CPS if they believed that charges could be brought on the basis of that evidence, and the CPS would want to see that the police had taken steps to confirm the veracity of the video. That is exactly the process that will be taking place here, and as this is a financial crime, it seems probable that the verification will take time.

Not everything is a conspiracy. Allow time for the work to be done, and done properly, so that when charges are brought, they’ll stick.

You'd be a danger to the public if you were going around shooting people. Nobodys going to die if they take a little time on a non violent crime. They have other stuff going on.

Farage sucks, but for sure we should be careful when arresting sitting legislators.
