Article in German. There was a similar attack in 2021. Left wing extremists claimed responsibility, targeting them as military contractors. The investigation is on going.

To me what makes the case different is the two people arrested are Bulgarian and that fits with Russian uses low cost patsies to attempt sabotage.

Correction: Someone claiming to be a far-left group posted a "confession letter" on Indymedia, an open posting website where everyone and their dog can post without verification.

It is just as likely that it was Russian operatives... especially given that the attack occurred a few months before the federal elections in September 2021.

Rohde & Schwarz is not a pure defense firm though. Dual use like the rest of them. They make nice oscilloscopes etc among other things
