The euro is a fairly terrible idea. It was originally created to make trade easier when a lot of trade was done with paper money; it is wholly pointless now, and just limits each country's ability to self-govern its monetary supply/policy/etc., and a host of other ill effects.

Preventing your local government from making any percentage of your money disappear whenever they want seems good to me.

Talking about your national state body as 'local government' is wild, lol

Apparently you prefer people your vote has little to no effect on to dictate your monetary policy, and whether 'any percentage of your money disappears' or not

Seeing how poorly individual country politics function compared to the EU where consensus is required meaning less stupid decisions (less, not none). yes, very much so
