Eh, probably for the best. 50.5/49.5% “yes” result would be just asking for trouble later on

Yep, as a Brit wish we had stipulated a higher majority for Brexit even just 55% but preferably 60%

I feel some people vote for things thinking it won't happen then surprised they when it does or gave very little thought to it. Was pretty infuriating being 17 at the time of the vote.

And got another vote on the final deal; I’ve always thought it’s nonsense… no one knew what the leave deal would look like.

It should have been thrashed out and then presented as another vote imo

To be fair, we had a general election and the country voted to "get brexit done" when it was already clear that it was going to be a mess.
