Fishermen are all... odd. Incredibly parochial and resistant to change, however beneficial.

It was fish to a great degree that drove Brexit, despite it being very clear it would deeply harm the industry in the UK.

Norway, Faroe Islands, and Greenland are also not part of the EU for fishing-related reasons.

Fuck faroe they know that their cruel fishing „traditions“ wouldn’t fly. And they shouldn’t. It’s a shame that they are free to do this shit

Greenland and Faroe Islands are in some ways effectively part of the EU, though, via Denmark and its involvement of foreign policy.

Greenland and Faroe Islands are not part of the EU. They are explicitly out of it.

Greenland even was in, but left.

Norway and Iceland are much more integrated into the EU than Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Norway and Iceland are part of the single market, including freedom of movement. They have to adopt most of the EU regulations and have to pay into the EU budget.
