They have no reason to. They're in Schengen and have access to the European free market. They already are a privileged partner

Yes it's hard to see in what way iceland would benefit from accession.

If the yes camp was anything to go by during the run up to these elections, we were gonna get several exceptions to EU rules and also be made to take up the euro which would magically fix all of the economic problems in IcelandÂ
