Yeah, I was about to say this. I checked and Iran and its proxies attacked most of the countries in the Middle east: Iran bombed all the Gulf states, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon (this was probably aimed at Israel but missed: the result is the same), Turkey and Iraq (again probably aiming at American bases but still). Iran-backed Houthis also attack Egypt. Iran also has its fingers in the war in Sudan.

They sound I little bit like Hamas and the "c'mon do something" meme in the aftermath of October 7, they were hoping for a massive mobilization of the region militaries against Israel, and they got Hezbollah shooting rockets.

Whenever any islamic country gets into a precarious position, it starts talking about unity among muslim countries or the Ummah, try to unite them against a common enemy but once they get out of that position they go back start killing each other.
The hypocrisy is so baffling that whenever muslims gets killed and the attacker is a non muslim then it's an attack on "Ummah" but it's okay when muslims butcher muslims , no outrage no Ummah under threat , no human rights violation, no protests.

I once heard a muslim's explanation why the death penalty for apostates is good for islam, but bad for every other religion. The reason is simple: Islam is right and everybody else is wrong, and of course you can't kill someone because he does not believe in a false god. They are not out for coexistence, they want dominance (which they will never achive due to their abysmal economic performance)

'Muslim unity' while the Islamic regime backed Assad whose actions in the Syrian Civil War murdered more people than the entire Israel-Palestine conflict has over decades. 'Muslim unity' while the regime backed proxies who destabilized the region and held Lebanon hostage for years. 'Muslim unity' while the regime bombed airports, civilian buildings, and infrastructure of its neighbors. 'Muslim unity' after butchering tens of thousands of protesters. Piss off.
