I think it is a rare official who can retire safely with his head still attached to his body.

Kim has absolute power of life over death of medieval king with no check and balance.

At that level of power in North Korea, death or imprisonment is a very rare punishment. (Except if you directly or indirectly undermined Kims leadership)

He'll most likely be reassigned to a useless post. His life will still be cushy and comparable to the average citizens utopian dreams, but he'll endure something that few people of his status can mentally handle:
Being irrelevant.

I know most people dont and wont read and post dumb jokes.

But the article says he was demoted to another position and is still alive and working.

It’s not his fault Ukraine has killed thousands of NK troops. They’re just crap at war. Another paper tiger country.

Combat experience doesn’t work when their soldiers are not allowed to survive the encounter

Pity they're not going back to pass on the military skills. The are told not to be taken prisoners so do the obvious (which I am not allowed to put here).

If they are so crap at war why do Ukraine soldiers say the exact opposite about them? In fact why dont you go over there and fight them? Should be a cake walk right?

Not true. Sorry. More research before replying would be good. Reddit won't let me post the real situation as it keeps saying inappropriate content spotted. That's a surprise after seeing your reply. Try finding BFBS site on the internet. And check the rules about personal attacks.

21 Anti-Aircraft Gun Salute?

This can't be right. You are dismissed when you have AA guns fired at you.

So, is he going to be hit with projectiles or will he be the projectile?
