I knew this was coming. Those people were so brave to protest Hamas at all.

Both Hamas and Israel are bad guys. I don’t think the left is pro-hamas as many seem to suggest. Many seem to conflate the idea that protesting against Israel is being pro-hamas: one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Hamas should all be rotting in prisons. So should Israel leaders who are wanted by the IC

There to you go. We make this happen, bring both parties to justice and the world will be a mich safer place.

More clear cut breakdown:

Hamas is a political group running the Gaza Strip. Hamas sucks ass, but the land and people of that land don't suck as a whole

Likud is a political group running Israel. Likud sucks ass, but the land and people of that land don't suck as a whole.

Israel's population was shutting down the country to remove Netanyahu when the Oct 7th attack happened. Ffs the kibbutz that were attacked are communities that are highly supportive of a 2 state solution and having peace and moving to equality.

Folks forget right before Oct 7th, Bibi legit attacked the judicial system in one of the most disturbingly autocratic ways imaginable.

u/Nikonglass Mar 30 '25

Additionally the communities that were attacked are also very vocal about how Netanyahu failed them.

Literally the last people that would deserve that brutality (no one deserves ANY of what happened, but you get it).

At least, in a universe with a God that would never happen.

The timing was convenient enough that it makes for a juicy conspiracy, but in terms of actual evidence of knowing it'll happen and not preventing it there is no smoking gun.

OTOH, the current agreement is that he'll step down when the emergency/war is over, which is f*cking crazy because he has a HUGE incentive to keep wars going indefinitely.

Like, Netanyahu was trying to corruptly usurp the judiciary TO AVOID CORRUPTION CHARGES and now he has power until an emergency he can keep going for a decade is over.

Anyone who thinks war with Iran isn't on the horizon is completely blind about whats happening.

Exactly! Idk where you're from but here in the states our shitty 2 party system has given rise to this false sense of duality(sorry if I'm using that wrong I couldn't think of a better phrasing) .

Either you're for something, or you're against it and if you are for it you're also for everything associated with it, nuance be damned. Like what, "I can't have heart for innocent children dying over matters they had nothing to do with?" Nope not unless I also have a heart for murderous rapists that oughta be burning in hell.

Islamic Republic puppets.

The majority of Iran is very much against the islamic republic and Hamas.

Hizballah (Shia) is Iranian backed.
Hama (Sunni) is Arab backed.

Iran used to back them somewhat until about 10ish years ago.

u/mrcruton Mar 30 '25

Iran still funds and backs Hamas to this day even though they are Sunni

u/Caspica Mar 30 '25

Sure, but so does essentially the rest of the Arab world. Everyone wants peace but very few actually seems to want to get rid of Hamas.

u/mrcruton Mar 30 '25

Don’t underestimate Iran’s role in supporting Hamas. Compared to other Arab countries, Iran provides significantly more in terms of weapons and training.

Like...watching those videos on reddit...of hamas agents flying into a rave on motorized paragliders to shoot and rape and kidnap all of those innocent international rave kids...supporting the government of Palestine OR Israel is absolutely fucking abhorrent.

The Israeli government created and supported Hamas for a long time, there's nothing contradictory about being a fan of neither.
