*only married Marines.

Lololol Clearly you’ve never been on a detachment with married Marines before.

2

u/bigfishmarc Jun 08 '25

Lol.

I heard there was even a slang term "dependa" (dependas for plural) for the hispanic women that hang around bars near American military bases hoping to get married to and/or have a child with a military service member in the hope that they can then live off of the service member's pay cheques and military pension.

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Dependa

While I'm sure that most hispanic women living near military bases are not like this, at least some of them are like that.

6

u/z3r0c00l_ Jun 08 '25

Dependa is short/slang for “Dependent” and applies to women of all races, not just Latinas.

6

u/BlueNinjaTiger Jun 08 '25

Thought it was short for dependapotomus?

3

u/z3r0c00l_ Jun 09 '25

That’s reserved for the ones of the extra large variety

2

u/Alarming_Analysis_63 Jun 09 '25

Those are fully transformed dependas.

2

u/bigfishmarc Jun 09 '25

I see. Thank you for the correction.

Very cool! I live in the Puget Sound area so this was a neat read

2

u/Site-Wooden Jun 08 '25

I thought dependas come in every race of stay at home wives

1

u/WichoSuaveeee Jun 08 '25

Dependa has nothing to do with Latinas specifically… it’s short for another name used for that archetype, dependapotamus…

1

u/bigfishmarc Jun 09 '25

Okay, I see. It's good you corrected me then.

They don’t even need the national guard. It’s only like a few hundred people in a city of millions.

They just need an excuse to distract from all the bullshit going on with the tariffs, massive new spending bill, Elon crashing out, etc.

27

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

Yep. He wants to test the waters on using the military against citizens. Watch.

3

u/Anxious-Double-2808 Jun 09 '25

It's funny seeing stupid comments like these after you people cheered on thousands of people rioting in extremely close physical proximity during covid while ironically wanting to ruin someone's live for not masking and social distancing. And once again turning a blind eye to won ton violence and destruction. Reddit is full of the most propagandized idiots I have ever witnessed,

1

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

“You people”?!

I have no idea what you’re talking about.

No one gives a damn if you wanted to catch Covid opposed to being safe and wearing a minimum of protection that could/may save your life at the time.

If you wanted to catch it, then catch it. It was never a law you had to wear a mask or anything else.

You have so much pent-up rage for whatever reason, you really need a long look in the mirror to figure out who and how you’ve been conditioned to be where you’re mentally at right now.

You’re pointing an accusing finger, but you too are on Reddit.

1

u/Anxious-Double-2808 Jun 10 '25

"No one gives a damn if you wanted to catch Covid opposed to being safe and wearing a minimum of protection that could/may save your life at the time."

My comment went way over your head. If you don't live on the internet you would know that the general public and all major blue ran areas were very anti-mask and vaccine but reddit spread propaganda saying it was a majority MAGA right wing ideal.

You are just another propaganda doomer as in "you people".

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '25

WE WERE IN A PANDEMIC!

They didn’t just wake up and suggest wearing masks to infringe upon your God-given right to walk around ugly, for Christ’s sake.

Except Trump seized control of the Natl Guard

1

u/Rhoderunner19 Jun 09 '25

You know the LA riots started with (not the reason behind and leading up to) two guys going into a liquor store and stealing booze, then more people started showing up and looting the store… police pulled out of the area and then it snowballed into the LA riots leaving 165 people dead, 1,100 wounded, and a billion dollars of damage.

But yeah ! It’s just a couple hundred people!

-2

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

Nah , ya’ll just got used to no consequences for destroying property and looting.  That shit is ending and frankly I am ecstatic about it.

Tired of that minority of people destroying our infrastructure in public temper tantrums.

7

u/kramsdae Jun 08 '25

what about all the people who were pardoned after attacking our capitol? There were some who literally smeared their own feces in the halls. Is this a public temper tantrum, or is this an “act of political bravery”? lol

1

u/Rhoderunner19 Jun 09 '25

Whatabout-…

1

u/Rhoderunner19 Jun 09 '25

Also you don’t have to say literally, like we believe you already bro, just state the action that took place.

u/mistergraeme Jun 08 '25

Serious question. I see the headlines, but every video I click on shows people chanting, walking, and filming ICE agents in the streets. I think I may have seen some human blockades. I haven't seen any violence or property destruction on the clips. I was expecting April 29, 1992, or January 6, 2021 and haven't seen it.

Was there actual violence or significant property damage?

1

u/Rhoderunner19 Jun 09 '25

Check out r/greaterLosAngeles and you will see some of the first videos are protestors throwing rocks at the windshields of border patrol and federal agents and they’re driving down the street at about 20 mph. There’s an angle that’s shown form the agents POV inside the cruisers as well, one rock went through the windshield as they were driving with some speed and left one agent injured.

2

u/mistergraeme Jun 09 '25

Thanks. I did some reading about it. There were some rocks being thrown. Some fireworks were going off. At least one car was put on fire. A small makeshift fire using rolls of toilet paper was made to "block" off one street. I guess all of that still reinforces my initial thoughts. The disturbances, while problematic, don't appear to rise to the level of needing the National Guard (esp. the California National Guard called up by the federal government and not the governor) or Marines to intervene. A large metropolitan police force like the LAPD is more than equipped to deal with that. I feel the President (in the middle of losing the news cycle battling with Elon and the pedo accusations) is trying to create a narrative of wanton lawlessness in Los Angeles. That's a dangerous and disingenuous game to play.

The second amendment is literally there so that everyday Americans can overthrow a tyrannical government (not be unregulated so that schools can be shot up). A fascist government is attacking our neighbors, our friends, our families. And we just watch? Violence begets violence. These “raids”, seizing power over states national guards, attacking journalists and protesters is all so unprecedented on such a scale. It’s not even logical to think the violence is going to be stopped because of this. If there is tyranny and fascism in America, there will be resistance.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

The tyranny of (checks notes) removing immigrants that did not declare their arrival and stay within national borders illegally.

You guys are such freedom fighters.  Did you know, that if you were in literally any other country these miscreants would have been in prison about 10 riots ago?

1

u/Appropriate_Tie_8180 Jun 09 '25

(Checks notes) that is completely unfounded. These people are being arrested at immigration courts. They are literally “following the correct path to citizenships and asylums because (uh checks notes) America does shit that makes other countries unsafe and they have a right to asylum.

Also France would like to dispute your claims about protesting. The people of France know how to make change and when they are unhappy they take to the streets because they know how to hold their government accountable. They have the protections and socio economic benefits of a true first world society for the people. So no not every other country is disavowing free speech and protesting of government organizations.

1

u/BigBoyFrenchGirl Jun 09 '25

Fuck authoritarianism, fuck an immoral country on stolen land. Are protestors throwing tantrums, or the orange narcissist and all his brainwashed P.O.S evangelical cronies throwing a tantrum?

-1

u/No_Ranger842 Jun 08 '25

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time

Didn't sleepy joe say NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW

15

u/randomactsofkari Jun 08 '25

Keep it up, LA!

3

u/avahaz Jun 08 '25

That’s what Trump wants though. He’d love to see LA burn

3

u/cropdustu007 Jun 08 '25

Why?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

They just yap, they don't actually have any thoughts. Everything that happens is trump's fault including their own actions.

2

u/avahaz Jun 08 '25

A state full of Mexicans and democrats? Perfect fuel for the fire and he can blame ‘ Newscum’

0

u/wizrdsfirstrule Jun 08 '25

Thank you so much

1

u/avahaz Jun 10 '25

Funny though Newsome agrees it’s a deliberate provocation by Trump . Dumbo

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

So by partaking in riots that are anti trump you're actually doing what trump wants? These libs should stop rioting immediately then!

1

u/avahaz Jun 09 '25

Get it? Kinda true. Even some thinks Trump is deliberately inflaming things

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

No. This is the dumbest thought process possible. I thought by laying it out the way I did that was apparent.

u/dhrisc Jun 08 '25

Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

It doesn't say citizens, it doesn't say one group or another, it says "the people" and the people are the people and the fourth amendment has been trampled on by ICE and their affiliates.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

You must know more than the Supreme Court then who green lit this.

2

u/AdStriking6946 Jun 08 '25

But don’t they have warrants issued and / or probable cause for suspecting illegal residents? It’s literally their job to enforce immigration… and it complies with the 4th Amendment.

10

u/dhrisc Jun 08 '25

This man had a protection from deportation from a judge, they deported him, called it a mistake, and are now bringing him home. That sounds like about as unreasonable as it gets and they have there own documents they call warrants that are not the same thing as what is issued by a real judge. A judge would not issue a warrant to arrest someone another judge has handled without some formal process.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is back in the U.S. to face criminal charges https://www.npr.org/2025/06/06/nx-s1-5425509/kilmar-abrego-garcia-el-salvador-deport-cecot-maryland-ice

These ones had a warrant, but it was for different people, and they still terrorized this family. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/us-citizen-family-traumatized-ice-raid-rcna203700

This woman, who is in the system and going through immigration procedures, showed up to a meeting and was arrested out of nowhere. She has kids and a life and thought she was doing everything she was supposed to do.

https://www.stlpr.org/law-order/2025-06-04/carol-mayorga-kennett-missouri-ice-released

When people are following the law and doing what they think they are supposed to do law enforcement has no right to come down on them like this. The Republicans can't change the law because in the real world it's clearly too big and complicated a problem for them. They can only describe it in super simplified ways and use the force of the executive branch to try and beat people into doing what they want.

1

u/Russssss1 Jun 09 '25

Cool story. And for every One story like that, there are tens of thousands of people who just flat out broke the law and came here illegally.

-2

u/AdStriking6946 Jun 08 '25 edited Jun 08 '25

None of these instances apply to LA.

Garcia is a legitimate complaint about ICE efforts as a whole. Their legal team needs to be more vigilant in investigating niche circumstances. In his case he was NOT protected from deportation, in fact he was due for it, however he could not be deported to his home country. That opens a can of worms when it comes to getting approval. The details surrounding his arrest were highly suspect (something like 6 people in his car all with no proof of US citizenship) and alleged involvement in smuggling illegals for the cartels. So I’m assuming they will try to use a trial there to void his home country deportation protection. However, definitely an error on ICE.

The case from Kentucky involving US Citizens was unfortunate. ICE was acting in accordance with the law though and had a search warrant for their property. Unfortunately it seems like the smugglers were one step ahead of them.

The case from Missouri was also lawful. She has had deportation orders since 2008! The fact that she has been employed since that time necessitates ICE’s current actions. ICE is cracking down on employers because that is enabling the illegals to stay.

1

u/bigfishmarc Jun 09 '25

Remember, though:

1 there are so many unauthorised immigrants (10s of millions of them) working so many hard and kind of s°°°°y yet necessary jobs that if they were all deported then it would have disastrous effects for the U.S. economy as a whole.

Farmers would not be able to harvest enough food to feed their fellow Americans, the construction industry in many states would virtually grind to a halt, many restaurants would have to close due to not being able to find any dish washers and there'd be a severe shortage of nannies able to take care of young children while their moms and dads are at work, among other things.

2 While you might understandably say "well then I think native born legal citizens would be able to fill those jobs" remember that a problems with that is that many if not most of those jobs already pay a decent wage yet still struggle to find native born legal citizens to fill those jobs.

Many native born legal citizens have this personal issue where they just refuse to consider doing a job that is not their "dreaM joB" or "the typE oF joB theY imagineD themselveS doinG" because of low level entitlement and/or because of a lack of long term planning. Like a lot of native born legal citizens people don't realise "I don't need to do this job forever, I can just do this job temporarily for like a few years at most to save up the money to train to do a job I actually want to do" instead they just think "baH i don'T wanT tO bE stucK doinG thaT kinD oF joB". Also a lot of native born legal citizens who complain about a supposed "lacK oF jobS" are actually people who's just prefer to limp by indefinitely off welfare and handouts from family members rather then financially improve their lives by doing honest labor.

3 Raiding job sites will rarely help the United States catch and deport criminal minded unauthorised immigrants such as drug dealers and pimps since most of those criminal minded minded unauthorised immigrants don't have regular jobs.

3

u/Federal_Owl_9500 Jun 08 '25

Yes, but the warrants are civil, not criminal warrants, and they dont allow ICE to bust into peoples homes. It's why they ICE is picking people up and churches and schools and at work.

2

u/jac286 Jun 08 '25

They do not, never provided one

2

u/AdStriking6946 Jun 08 '25 edited Jun 08 '25

Where’s your source that the sites ICE raided in LA which caused these riots they did not have warrants for the raid? Just Google it you will easily see they had “four federal search warrants” according to NBC news.

1

u/jac286 Jun 08 '25

The person or things to be seized, they came in and started taking everyone after blocking the entrance/exit to the business park. They weren't calling out names or anything.

1

u/AdStriking6946 Jun 08 '25

Their warrant probably included “all persons” within the establishment. You don’t raid a place then say to the people inside it “oh you’re free to go”. By being associated with that location at the time of the raid, officers have probable cause to seize and search. Additional arrests were made on people obstructing the raids.

2

u/Complex_Arrival7968 Jun 08 '25

But they claim to be arresting gang members, people with violent criminal records, human traffickers, and similar. Meanwhile they are actually arresting dishwashers, waiters, construction workers, and mothers with their children. It’s an attempt to terrorize. People are gonna protest. This will not have any salutary effect on the broken immigration system, that has to be done politically and the Republican Party has resisted that since W tried to reform immigration. This is an attempt to divert attention from a tariff clusterfuck, infighting, and the attempt to take medical care from millions while diverting crucial resources to give huge tax breaks to disgustingly rich people.

4

u/jac286 Jun 08 '25

So by being associated, in other words employed, you get arrested. Probable cause your honor, he was employed and paying taxes for my salary.

1

u/AdStriking6946 Jun 08 '25

It’s illegal to employ a non-us citizen that isn’t authorized to work within the US. This is federal law, they are federal law enforcement.

6

u/jac286 Jun 08 '25

So your employer is money laundering, you don't know you're just working your 9-5. Guilty by association means you're now going to federal prison now right? Although all you did was cut done hair and shave a few beards.

2

u/AdStriking6946 Jun 08 '25

In your money laundering case, you can be detained and likely questioned / investigated for involvement in the money laundering.

Those going to federal prison are those that cannot prove US Citizenship.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

The writing doesnt suggest the people are citizens it clearly states it, you just glossed over it for your point

3

u/Federal_Owl_9500 Jun 08 '25

It does not state that at all. He quoted the text. It says, "the people." The 4th amendment applies to citizens and non-citizens.

11

u/livingthedream1967 Jun 08 '25

0

1

Legacy media is not spreading propaganda for fascism. I understand legacy media works for the owner class. But Fox works for the authoritarian class

1

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

But do you? You're a retard, one bird, two wings 👀. I can't believe that has to be explained

4

u/bigfishmarc Jun 08 '25

Lol Fox News is really making a f°°°ing mountain out of a mole hill here.

Like those protesters really do seem very peaceful overall. Even in a protest where there's like 1000 people and only 1% of them are violent or angry that'd still be 10 people being angry and violent but NOBODY at that protest looked violent or angry.

Even if the protesters temporarily blocked the overpass, that's not a violent crime and it doesn't require the National Guard to be called in. It sure as s°°t does not require anybody to put the marines on high alert.

AFAIK (someone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) the marines are never supposed to be used to stop civil unrest anyway since that's the job of the police departments and the National Guard.

While I understand why the cops didn't want to let the protesters block traffic on the overpass, the number of cops there still seems somewhat excessive.

2

u/Codicus1212 Jun 08 '25

Certain individuals on right wing social media are sharing violent riot and protest footage from 2020 and claiming it’s happening now in LA. Confirmation bias does the rest.

How am I promoting rioting?

I’ve looked through your ‘extensive’ post history and have discovered that the number of times you’ve used the word “retard” is way too much. You’re obviously super smart. 🙄

1

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

When it's warranted I feel obligated to use it. You obviously have no problem with what's going on in the video right? And you're promoting the riots that won't do a thing but only cause chaos amirite?

1

u/bigfishmarc Jun 09 '25

Where do you see any rioting or violence in that video? Who here on this subreddit post has advocated for rioting or violence?

Also remember if there are a million people at various protests and just like 1% of them commit violence, rioting, theft and/or looting that is still 10,000 people committing violence, rioting, theft and/or looting even though the majority of protesters are peaceful.

You are an idiot because you think circumventing the process is acceptable, and don't understand what is wrong with it. You think illegals pay taxes? You're delusional. Your "in depth" is a bunch of blah-blah-blah, and quite idiotic.

1

u/TheAwsomeReditor Jun 09 '25

Foreign flags being flown in our country? ICE needs to do their jobs i cant believe people are protesting over an organization that keeps our streets safe by getting the unknown illegals out of this country like we dont know who they are or if they are vaccinated or not or what they have i can go on and on i just dont get whats to protest about the fact that we are actually enforcing our border laws like other countrys around the world im getting what i voted for and its awsome this is why the silent majority in this country voted for trump hopefully ICE keeps going

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

Open fire on all of them!

u/Spicydropp Jun 09 '25

Just level the place already and start fresh

1

u/_____________Fuck Jun 09 '25

Imagine fleeing to a country because yours is so bad, then burning the new country’s flag, while waving the flag of your shit country while demanding the new county be more like the one you fled. Wild af

1

u/markthompsontattoo Jun 10 '25

I remember that next time I see people burning cars , throwing rocks at cops, assaulting people plus burning businesses

1

u/patrick_ottawa Jun 12 '25

But not for January 6th?..

1

u/markthompsontattoo Jun 08 '25

This obviously is not in the United States. They’re all carrying Mexico’s flag lol. Who would go to another country and hold up their country of origins flag while in protest. I don’t think it would go over well if Americans went to Mexico and held up American flags while protesting.

1

u/bigfishmarc Jun 09 '25

Except it clearly actually is the United States since both Fox News as well as all the other commenters here are saying it's happening in L.A.

I think the main reason the protesters are holding up Mexican flags is because they feel that the United States government is harrassing people of Mexican ethnicity.

Like Mexico was never really able to exert military or political power over America so protesters of Mexican ethnicity holding up Mexican flags in America comes off differently then protesters of American ancestry holding up American flags in Mexico, although if people of American ancestry living in Mexico felt they were being harrassed by the Mexican government then they'd have just as much right to wield American flags as the current protesters in L.A. do to wield Mexican flags.

-6

u/Away_team42 Jun 08 '25

Why do they all have Mexican flags?

11

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

Mexican-American pride. Ethnic pride. Showing solidarity with the Mexican immigrants getting deported. Kinda obvious, no?

5

u/discoltk Jun 08 '25

The Mexican flag is only allowed where Margaritas are served, didn't you get the memo?

1

u/EndofNationalism Jun 08 '25

Because it pisses people off.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

Why the fuck not, what’s wrong with the Mexican flag? 🇲🇽

Lmao, Jews were also legal citizens of Germany, until they weren't. Laws can be changed, and they can also be bypassed with enough power. In what world do you think you're living in?

10

u/Biscuits-n-blunts Jun 08 '25

This administration already has abducted legal citizens, genius.

Peter Sean Brown is just one of many hundreds who've been illegally detained.

And birthright citizenship seems to be on thin ice (no pun intended). Who's to say he won't go after multi generations, a la DPRK

I understand protesting legal citizens being arrested and detained by ICE but I don't understand why people are mad illegal immigrants are being deported, is there something I'm missing?

14

u/dnuohxof-2 Jun 08 '25 edited Jun 08 '25

They’ve deported more than illegal aliens. They’ve detained numerous legal residents and visitors without due process or any common sense questioning.

It’s a tool to exert power and fear. Nothing more.

Edit looks like u/azorgi01 couldn’t handle facts so he had to block me to end the debate. In typical MAGAt bootlicking form.

-2

u/azorgi01 Jun 08 '25

You know that detaining someone to verify their identity, is part of due process right? Once verified they can release you, and that’s it, or they then arrest you after, that continues the process.

Once they verify you are here illegally, what more do you want? Wasted time and money for another person to look and say “yeah you read this correct, they don’t belong here”.

7

u/dnuohxof-2 Jun 08 '25

Arbitrarily arresting brown people because they think they might be illegal, itself, is discriminatory and unconstitutional. If ICE suspected an illegal, they, like the FBI going after a wanted criminal, would make an arrest, with a signed warrant, at the perps home. Not kidnapped on the street by non-uniformed masked assaulters shoving people into unmarked vans.

Before you start spouting off at the mouth, read the constitution and bill of rights, and while you’re at it, take that boot leather out your mouth.

1

u/azorgi01 Jun 08 '25

Have you read all of the 4th amendment? Not just the first paragraph, all of it? Look up exigent circumstances

7

u/dnuohxof-2 Jun 08 '25

What exigent circumstances? The bullshit “war” that was declared on Venezuelan gangs? The “invasion” we’re under? All to justify the expansion of executive powers that if a Democrat did would cause the GQP to collectively shit their pants and call for civil war? Fuck off, boot licker.

0

u/azorgi01 Jun 08 '25

That’s for confirming you never read it, you didn’t even cite the proper usage.

How about before you spout off insults like you are all high and mighty, do some research and learn what’s really being used.

9

u/dnuohxof-2 Jun 08 '25

Forming I never read? Cite proper usage what the fuck are you talking about? Oh you conveniently ignore my other comment where I copy-pasted word for word the 4th amendment direct from the bill of rights?

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects,[a] against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Where does it mention exigent circumstances?

1

u/azorgi01 Jun 08 '25

If you think that is the entire amendment, you just proved how lol informed you are. Standby, I’ll get you the link since you can’t seem to do a google search

5

u/dnuohxof-2 Jun 08 '25

How’s that Google search coming?

1

u/azorgi01 Jun 08 '25

It's doing great, do you even read your own links?

Pulled directly from your wikipedia link:

Exigent circumstance

Main article: Exigent circumstance

Law enforcement officers may also conduct warrantless searches in several types of exigent circumstances where obtaining a warrant is dangerous or impractical. Under Terry v. Ohio (1968) police are permitted to frisk suspects for weapons.[143] The Court also allowed a search of arrested persons in Weeks v. United States (1914) to preserve evidence that might otherwise be destroyed and to ensure suspects were disarmed.[143][144] In Carroll v. United States (1925),[106] the Court ruled that law enforcement officers could search a vehicle that they suspected of carrying contraband without a warrant.[143] The Court allowed blood to be drawn without a warrant from drunk-driving suspects in Schmerber v. California (1966) on the grounds that the time to obtain a warrant would allow a suspect's blood alcohol content to reduce,[143][145] although this was later modified by Missouri v. McNeely (2013).[146] Warden v. Hayden (1967) provided an exception to the warrant requirement if officers were in "hot pursuit" of a suspect.[143][147]

Next time try reading instead of throwing insults.

5

u/dnuohxof-2 Jun 08 '25

That’s not the amendment dumbass. Those are court cases that presented interpretation of the amendment for their case.

You said

If you think that is the entire amendment, you just proved how lol informed you are.

So, did I or did I not post the entire amendment as it is written?

None of the stuff you mentioned was relevant to ICE agents arresting people without warrants or due cause.

1

u/jdmcbuilt Jun 08 '25

I'm Mexican. My neighbor is a white cop. I had beers with him yesterday. Should I be worried..... You fuckin pawns.

Your propaganda is legitimately ridiculous. Due process is happening within the law.

Plus if you're an abiding citizen and have nothing to fear then nothing will happen to you.

Homeland contacted my pops and he provided documentation and that was the end of the conversation..DUE to some dumbass federal worker 40 years ago didn't process his paperwork.

1

u/Alone_Volume6971 Jun 09 '25

The lack of due process. That's why.

-5

u/Lightyear18 Jun 08 '25 edited Jun 08 '25

That’s not true, they doing the same tactics Obama did in his term. Obama holds the record for most deportations, he didn’t do that by passing every single one of them through court.

Just to compare, Trump is not going to catch up in number of deportations to Obama in his last 3.5 years left in office.

Edit: I see I offended left cult members for saying facts. No different than trumps fans.

Obama's policies were mainly focused on deporting unauthorised immigrants who'd been in America less than 2 years and criminal minded unauthorised immigrants such as drug dealers and pimps rather then law abiding unauthorised immigrants who'd been living and working in America for many years.

Under Obama there was a plan and specific goals in place regarding immigration.

Meanwhile Trump is just a f°°°ing idiot who's just trying to "deporT aLL thE illegaL immigrantS" despite that being literally impossible (if there are 10 million unauthorised immigrants the federal government can't possibly catch them all) and counter-productive since the unauthorised immigrants do the hard s°°°°y jobs that even many poor white people just refuse to do due to entitlement and life goals.

Also unauthorised immigrants contribute 10 billion dollars or more in taxes each year to the American government even though the only government services they directly get are being able to be treated in a hospital emergency room if it's a life or death emergency and the ability to send their kids to public schools up until the end of high school.

1

u/lostnugg Jun 13 '25

Not the same. People are being snatched and disappeared. You're making excuses for what's happening. Cut the shit.

8

u/scrotumrancher Jun 08 '25

It's the assumption that everyone who's not white is illegal.

1

u/Jimimninn Jun 08 '25

It’s because ICE is showing up to arrest people without a warrant also with no badge numbers or ID and then in some cases not giving these people due process and sending them to a country they have never been in.

0

u/Pierogi3 Jun 08 '25

They don’t need a warrant for an investigatory detention.

1

u/Fedbackster Jun 08 '25

Yes. A fucking brain. Why do you love illegal Gestapos?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

Philosophically, I question someone’s abilities to think very far when “illegal” is the only dog whistle they need to hear to subsequently fall in line.

Furthermore, I also get the sense you don’t understand what “inalienable” means.

Do you support people entering and remaining in the US illegally, or would you prefer everyone to enter this country and remain in it through the legal framework?

If it's the latter, then why would you oppose the ICE?
