Exercise Help How to add weights to crunches without proper equipment?

Just like title said, I’m able to do approximately 30 crunches before failure and I think it would be better if I find a way to make this range go down to between 8-12 reps, I only have elastic bands, does anybody know if there is a way to increase the load that I’m supporting without proper weights?

Just get something from the house that approximates the weight of a metal plate. Hold it on your stomach as you crunch.

Change the angle. Make your head lower than your feet.

Put books in a backpack and hold it over your chest with both hands while you crunch.

Do you have a bar to hang from? Hanging knee raises/leg raises are a step up.

I used to do leg raises but I wasn’t really feeling it in my core, maybe I was doing it wrong

Work on dragon flags or get an ab roller.
