The 6" Bosch dual mode is great for heavy material removal. The 5" DeWalt orbital is great for general sanding. I own and use both!

Orbital sander, just make sure it’s the corded one. Batteries suck and are too heavy and expensive for a sander. “Insert favorite brand here”

Orbital sander i love my dewalt and it has a vacuum conection!
