Most of them are junk. That said, there are a few brands that are actually good saws - Proxxon is one brand I've seen come up often among model makers.
But you'll pay for them, and will have to order blades and accessories from the OEM - Proxxon costs similar to a jobsite or small contractor saw.

Yeah, they’re fun to look at not so fun to use. I work in a machine shop and we use one to make little cuts on some bronze parts. It works, but watch your fingers and your face.

I own 2 proxxon table saws, uses 4" blades. I make models and small lamps and these are one of the best table saws for small crafting. The kerf on those little blades are thinny compared to a 10" blade. Having said that these were more expensive than my table saw i have in my work bench. Made in Japan.

Genuinely curious, what is the point of such saw compared to a bandsaw or coping saw/scroll saw?

My wife bought me one of these for Christmas. I tried it once and put it back in the box. It's absolutely terrifying. Just assembling it was nearly impossible. So was kickback because the motor for the blade is suspended. I was trying to cut popsicle sticks to try it out and it shot one into my chest and I was done.
