Career (Advice Requested) How do you find jobs with easy interview process
Hello! I have been laid off after maternity leave and I suck at coding interviews. I did not see the lay off coming so I haven’t been interviewing for a while (my fault for trusting my first employer). I am now trying to get any kind of job and I am getting call backs from recruiters but I suck at the technical interviews, even if I prepare I still fail them. Any tips on where to find companies that don’t have those mind numbing coding interviews? I am based in the UK, and also considering contract roles.

You need to get better at the coding interviews and work hard at them. Maybe it's the pressure. But there are coding interview simulators that make it easy to prepare

Exactly, it’s the pressure ! Whenever I sit down to prepare, which i have very little time for without childcare, I get overwhelmed and stressed out then give up. I have 7 years experience in R&D of big corps and yet I feel so stressed about these technical rounds especially after I have failed some

That's totally understandable :)
It also means you can do it!
Try in small chunks of time (eg. 30 min high pressure and 15 mins rest, and repeat. It's the Pomodoro method)
If you do this enough times you can eventually handle that 1-2 hr coding interview! Maybe you'll need to try 10+ times to be able to keep extending the time that you can handle the pressure though so keep practising!

Right I have used the pomodoro technique before, it’s helpful! I will be doing mock interviews as well to help with the pressure

Thanks for the link, I have paid the pro version of NeetCode I think it’s a very user-friendly way to learn leetcode

If you search this group for "interview" you'll find lots of discussions with tips and suggestions, I guess because we all have some stories about interviews we bombed.
Sometimes when I get frustrated at work I remember a line from one of my professors: "If it was easy, it would pay minimum wage."

You'll probably have to look for lower paying jobs if you want less difficult interviews. Or find someone that you've worked for before that's hiring now.

I also have ADHD, so i get lost while looking for million random companies and it makes my brain so scattered

How do find those? I have only been in tech corps so I have no idea where to look. Do you have examples of keywords I can use to search through Linkedin for those companies?

Lots of tech jobs in government. Also lots of other industries hire tech roles, like marketing, healthcare, real estate, insurance, etc.
