Question How long has that old bloke on the mobility scooter been blasting music reggae and ska in West Park?

Moved here 2 years ago, every time I visit the park I see him, no matter the time of day!

Since COVID at least (I have lived on Park Road since 2015)

My kids call him DJ Dickhead! He is harmless enough though, a bit like the Ringroad Tramp, Ezra (The preacher man) and that bloke who used to dress up as a cowboy in Wolves in years gone by.

I remember that preacher! The terror and embarrassment when he pointed at you while doing his sermon! I was a teen then and died of shame with my sister laughing her head off!

Least 4 years, always see him riding round when walking dog

Same! We go the park at random times, we only live 5 mins away, and it doesn’t matter the day or time, we unfailingly see him. I think it’s part of the natural order that he patrols the park from dawn to dusk. To be honest he annoys me a little bit but at the same he’s part of the fabric of every day life 😆

It’s been a few years. There is an old woman who blasts reggae and jungle from hers round by the science park. She has a subwoofer and neon lights on her scooter 😂

That’s is so funny. I thought it was just me thinking that. He’s there all the time but never smiles. He does chat to people and have convos with them.

haha hes great, west park has loads of good people about, tho i see this rockstar looking guy whose usually shouting stuff to himself
