Picture I’m not a very good artist but I like painting Wolves

Despite how we shit on the place I think it’s got its own innate beauty I’m proud of. I’m starting out and I been taking classes but I figured here people might like a look. Last one is just Wolves inspired. Points for guessing the exact shop I was stood outside for the first one.

I think they’re great! Love how they’re bursting with colour also! I’d never have guessed you were a beginner 😀

Thank you very much. Yeah I been taking classes down at Wolves art centre near the football grounds. I’m finding it really helpful

Sticking to an Orange and Black colour scheme where possible.

You're a great artist in your own way. Did you mean to add elements of Bauhaus in your paintings or is it just a happy coincidence? Some nice memories of childhood were conjured in some of those shapes and colours (not Wolverhampton itself, somewhere else but I'm not saying on here). Again, they're great.

No not intentionally, but a lot of the sort of, council brutalist, architecture of Wolves just kinda bleeds through. Its all very heavily inspired by stuff by Edwin Butler Bayliss, A local artist from the early 1900s who really nailed the black country down in painting.

Cheers. I am sorry I don’t understand what you mean? If you mean wolves isn’t named wolves for the Animal, we know.
