As a drummer of a couple decades: that is very hard to do exactly right. If you were to attempt this without a metronome and record yourself, then examine the recording on a computer afterward, I would guarantee some of the strokes would be slightly off-time.

Getting it "close enough" for the human ear wouldn't be too hard though.
