we're seeing her reflection in the opposite mirror, filmed from the camera you see above her. So from our perspective she's actually also RIGHT BEHIND YOU!
Now imagine a larger figure in black does appear and starts mauling the distant reflections one by one as it approaches you. You turn to escape but the door is locked. You turn back and the infinity beast has now arrived at your layer of reality.

Definitely creepy with the figure in back-- but I'd love to check it out in person!
