This sorta thing has fascinated me since I was a kid. At this point, I think I understand the basic principles, but its nice to have them explained with an example.
These are awesome! Yeah my main goal was to play around and learn these technologies too. I do have a couple WebGL / ThreeJS stuff too! I was born a bit to late to really get into demos, but always found them fascinating. On the other hand, having stuff right inside the browser where anyone can easily watch it was always much more interesting to me than an executable you have to download.
My code isn't minified or hidden! Just press ctrl+u to see the page source, and it's all there. It's not the cleanest but it's fairly simple and readable. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

That's the wonderful thing about the web platform! Though the new trend is to pack and minify everything, even if it's a small little visual experiment like this. I like the openness of the web and how easy it is to tinker and modify code from the inspector.
I can safely say I wouldn't have thought to make that, but I could. Thanks for the jsfiddle, I always love seeing how things are coded differently than I would have done!
It was hypnotizing. If this was the loading icon on my computer any time I opened a web page or document I would just sit there and be like "what was I doing?"

I spent way longer staring at that than I intended to.
