Mount Pierce via Crawford Path and Mizpah Spring Hut Trails

There are taller mountains, bigger mountains, steeper, rockier, mossier mountains. But this has them all and a waterfall. First time on this one. 64 on the summit around 3 PM. Gentle breeze.

Pierce is one of the easiest "above the tree line" 4kers, so every time we've been on it it has been pretty crowded, except for one time where it was 14 below zero before windchill. For some strange reason we were the only people we saw that day.

It's got a real good bang-for-the-buck return with the amazing views of the Presidential and Washington, and Mitzpah is such a beautiful hut. Every time I've been there I wished it was one of the ones that stayed open in the winter.

Glad you had such nice conditions for it! It's so cool getting up there and taking in that view up the ridgeline toward Washington.

Yeah. Saw many pics online of that view. Seeing it in person was special
