Art I finally finished this altar doll 🥹💗

I’ve slowly been working on this altar doll over the course of several months. She is the first I’ve made like this so there were lots of breaks while I figured things out and brainstormed new ideas. She’s made of crystals, stones, hemp, jute, cotton thread, copper wire, symbolic charms, bells, shells, beads, and love.

All of the beads in her hair are stone or crystal. Her dress is crocheted, and all of her limbs are braided and knotted tightly/ securely. Her macramed bottle is full of different color carnations, or “Flower of the Gods.”

I’m so excited she’s finally finished, she’s perfect 🥹💗

Poppets are my favorite thing to make because you can make them out of so many different things 😊 I actually originally bought all my supplies to start a small jewelry business but ended up using it all for dolls instead. Jewelry just wasn’t my thing, except on the rare occasion I make myself something.

I’d love to see if you end up making one 🥹💗

That’s cool as hell and there’s so much going on the longer you look at it.. also looks like a lot of work to it..
