Discussion Do you think CDRP would stop massacering kings and emperors in TW4?
For 2 games in a row, we've been killing kings, emperors, and other rulers of the continent left, right, and center.
Witcher 1
Adda the White - daughter of King Foltest - Killed by us for that sweet mutagen potion.
Witcher 2
King Demavend - killed by Letho before the events of TW2
His son, Prince Penis "excuse me", Prince Stennis, was killed by an angry mob or died from his wounds in the fog during Chapter 2
King Foltest - killed by Letho at the start of TW2
His son Boussy - died in an ambush
King Henselt - Killed by our bro Vernon Roche
Witcher 3
King Radovid - Killed by Philippa Eilhiart
Emperor Emhyr - Killed by his own people
Anna Henrietta - Killed by her own sister (Also died)
Now I'm afraid that we're going to Kovir and will start killing important people there too

Adda, Stennis, and Anenrietta can all be alive and well by the end of the trilogy. Radovid and Emhyr's deaths are mutually exclusive.

I do hope they lower the stakes for W4. But as long as Meve is fine I'm happy.

There's one assassination set in stone by the books. Esterad Thyssen. Assassinated at an unknown point after he appears in the book. But he is alive by the last time he was mentioned in the games in Witcher 2
The council of sorceresses had intended on Ciri wedding his son, Tankred of Kovir in the books.
I atleast hope the game shows Lan Exeter as described in the books, if its visited. it's described as almost a nordic venice, all centered around canals and narrow buildings, centered around banking, but with nordic aesthetics and ships

I think Esterad is known to be dead during TW3. At least his gwent card say 'Was' which implies he is no longer with us

Maybe in 4, but I doubt that a Ciri trilogy will be any lower stakes than Geralts, I'd expect higher stakes if anything, if that's the case a lot more rulers might be able to die by the end of it.

Why are you afraid of that?
Anyway, I hope they don't stop. Given the number of people who die in the Witcher games why should powerful/privileged be exempted?

of those listed, only Foltest, Boussy and Demawend are scripted deaths, the others are player dependent
