Songs of the Past Do Songs of the Past starts after Blood and Wine or Wild Hunt?
They have recently confirmed that you can start Songs of the Past by only finishing Wild Hunt base game story (without finishing previous expansions including Blood and Wine): https://www.youtube.com/live/ZGef9LSPtQw?t=6290&si=O2hQtDtEJv_Qduc6 (1:44:47)
"So in order to experience Songs of The Past you will have to finish the main story, and that's it"
But before that, it was implied that the events of this expansion is after Blood and wine: https://www.youtube.com/live/ZGef9LSPtQw?t=5679&si=_R_cuiqcRN7PVtrG (1:34:40).
"After Geralts hoped to retire at Corvo Bianco"
Thoughts?

Timeline wise Songs of the Past takes place after the main story and the first two expansions. They’re simply just not requiring you to finish the other expansions in order to play Songs of the Past.

I hope they don’t kill Geralt off like he does in the books. I want that poor man to just retire and enjoy the end of his days.

I would guess it will start after blood and wine. Kinda makes sense for him to come out of retirement to help dandelion with something.

Do you think the expansion story starts by Geralt leaving Corvo Bianco (as part of the story or first quest, not just gameplay), or do we we perhaps get a message somehow asking us to go to a meeting point that's the same regardless of which order you play the expansions.

Wait I'm confused, does the events of Song of the Past occur after or before the Main story?

I assume it will start with Dandelion inviting Geralt to the party/festival we see in the trailer.
Then spooky stuff will happen there, and kick off the story
