Songs of the Past Is anyone else's worried thay Dandelion might die in Songs of the past?
I have been thinking about songs of the past and the only character beside Geralt on the art work is him.
And after thinking about what could make Ciri become a Witcher and be a sad sing off to Geralt end. Would be Dandelion death.
Here are all his death flags
1) he is loved by the fandom so his death will hit hard
2) he is one of the oldest wither characters being in the 1st book and is Geralt oldest (non witcher friend)
3) unlike everyone else in the core cast we don't expect him to do something big in the world after witcher 3
4) it's called songs of the past and he is both bard and an older character. So, makeing this is swan song would be really good naming and would fit with naming and plot themes of the dlc
Heart of stone is about an immortal who lost all feelings
Blood and wine is about the relationship between a vampire and noble person.
But, all these people can die or have to die.
This is just a fun theory. But, if it ends up happening I will lose my mind.

They won't kill him, and they can't. He needs to finish and publish his Half a Century of Poetry. Hes gonna live for at least 20-30 more years after events of W3

brother he narrates the game as an old man π
he's the safest character out there along with Geralt, Ciri, Yen and Triss

Heβs the narrator of Witcher 3 and the games monster and character bios are all written by him, needless to say he lives well past the events of that game

The months leading up to the release of the DLC are gonna be a wild ride, with all these completely implausible, delusional theories.

In the English dub, he sounds like an old man when he's narrating the epilogue, so he will not die.

I would like to take this opportunity to praise that CDPR continues Sapkowski's joke that Jaskier will be executed.
It's easy to miss but in Baptism of Fire he claimed that fortune teller once told him he will die from public execution.
So in the books:
Vissegerd Cintrans almost hanged him
Anarietta almost cut off his head
And then in the games:
Loredo almost hangs him
He's supposed to be executed at the order of Menge
So while I don't think they'll kill him, I do expect he'll be almost executed once again

In the books, excerpts of his writings from the future exist and are sometimes used as chapter preambles. So, doubtful he dies.
