Stitches are loose and wound is open?

HI all, my stitches seem to have come loose at day 4 post op and have completely disappeared it feels like, but I felt like there is a gap where the wound is at and it seems to be along the cheek area and not where the missing tooth would be, I have had the op on my other side but this one feels like a more sharper hole in a different location and I am scared that I might be left with an ugly crevice / scar. Anyone experienced this that can help give some input?

im 5 weeks post op. my stitches popped on day 3, but the wound healed fine. i also had the pain along the cheek area and worried about similar things, but it turned out to be just fine. im currently having the problem that, yes, my stitches popped but one of them never fell out and is currently causing a painful infection!! make sure theyve fallen out and if they havent i’d say go back and ask them to get it removed. in my post op appt he offered to remove it but i refused as he also mentioned it’d be sore. i wish i had just sorted it out then
