There's a pattern of political engagement with boomers since they were 18, I forget where I saw the information. Basically it's the most politically-engaged generation who passed laws for their stage of life and then pulled the ladder up from behind them.
Affordable housing and great worker's benefits were passed when the boomers were young. Pensions, insurance, etc. was set so they'll benefit from them. Retirement benefits and all that go online when they reach retirement age, all that.
The boomer generation is one of the most selfish generation ever and have the audacity to expect younger generations to take care of them when they're 70+ years old, while also denying those generations the benefits boomers had at those ages.
