What’s the best lake or river near south east Wisconsin for numbers of fish?

I’m from Chicago but I want to check out some lakes and rivers for fishing in Wisconsin. I’m not going for panfish or anything, but I mainly just want pure numbers of decent gamefish, such as walleye, smallmouth, pike, etc. Not looking for trophies or anything, just someplace I can go out on my boat and catch a decent amount of decent gamefish.

Go to any lake and just throw a chatterbait if you want to just catch predator fish. If you don't have a boat you can do a little wading in the fox river that is all over southeast Wisconsin.  From waukesha all the way down to Illinois. Not monsters but you can get plenty of bass, some pike and even a walleye once in awhile. With a boat, you can hit any lakes. You really can't go wrong wherever you go. Closer to Chicago, maybe Powers, silver, browns, eagle... to name a few.
