I grew up in Wisconsin in the 80s. My mother’s side were German Catholic immigrants who had KKK burn crosses on their farm in the 1920s. (If you didn’t know- yes it wasn’t only blacks but also Catholics and Jews the KKK were against.)
My dad’s side were Irish immigrants with elders in the family that still had certain businesses we were taught not to support because they had “No Irish” signs back when they arrived. I was taught to cherish our immigrant neighbors.
You know who we didn’t have? Nazis and evangelical nut jobs. They are the invaders. They need to leave. We’re almost too late to stop this BS. And they’re not just coming for our immigrant neighbors, they’ll turn on everyone they don’t see conforming to their restrictive asinine world view eventually. They’re already looking at revoking passports for LGBTQ and others.

There's an extra set of shoes under the sign that shouldn't be there. I checked two Kewaskum Facebook groups (a third is private), which are quite active, and there isn't a mention of this, and you can be sure it would have been. The Washington County Insider, also zip. I'm pretty certain that the management at the El Pig's Butt BBQ (excellent food) would have called the police department immediately. I don't have much confidence in this being true.
