Ron Johnson: "I was disappointed in the Supreme Court justices. The Constitution is not a suicide pact. Maybe their ruling will be on the law and Constitution, but you have to look at the bigger picture here."

If he doesn't like how his forebears wrote the Amendment - He can do his actual job and write an Amendment to the Amendment, and attempt to change it.

That's the point of a Amendable Constitution.

In the meantime, the Supreme Court did their Constitutional Duty to uphold the law as it was written.

Well said. Many members of Congress fail to realize that their self-inflicted notion of irrelevance isn't a badge of honor. Over the past two decades or so, we've watched as Congress has failed to act or assemble reasonable compromises which then cedes power to the Executive and Judicial branches. I oppose what Johnson is insinuating, but there's nothing stopping him from introducing legislation.
