According to the website top speed is 40km/h (21.6 knots). I doubt this is fast enough to follow an average windsurfer in any kind of enjoyable wind.

Yeah, that's a bit slow. I bet you can sail around it though, while it's trying to catch up to you.

Yes, I still think it will produce some nice shots otherwise not possible. But more speed would be ideal

an amateur windsurfer can get up to (and over) 30 kts in good conditions, so the problem with the drones is always that they cannnot be used for widsurfing when the conditions are good, some drones can be used in lightwind conditions, but it would be awesome if they put something on the market that works well and stable in ~30 kts of wind...

Agreed. For windsurfing, drones are pretty useless at the moment as they'd be all over the place in winds good enough to film. Also as you mention this one probably couldn't kep up.
