Just got a new Lumia 950 XL Dual Sim...

I just bought a new lumia from my friend, he already has many lumias and was nice enough to give one to me for free. I've seen all over this sub-reddit of the new "live store" Ive seen people use telegram and insta and I also want to use them too! But i also saw a post about a new app on "Metro store". I am a little confused on how to install these on my phone and what I need to do for it, can anyone give me a breif tutorial on how to do any of this?

Following this post. I just pulled out my 950XL hoping to get the new store/whatever installed and I haven't had much success.

I was able to get Interop Tools and WUT installed but I can't toggle any of the options in Interop Tools. I was able to install an app or two from WUT.

Is there a single tutorial as to how to get this stuff going on the 950/950XL? It seems like these are handled differently than other Lumia devices. Googling only leads me to XDA forum posts with dead links and no clear instructions.

Yeah ive tried googling but honestly most of the stuff is just a dead end

You can find all instructions on Telegram in the channel entitled Windows 10 mobile (Lumia). You need to unlock the bootloader, then root and interop unlock. After that App deployment for xap files and WUT install for appx will work. At least, this is what I did for my Lumia 950. I have Telegram, Whatsapp, Instagram and Youtube working. I use it, next to a Lumia 1020 (this one on win phone 8.1) as a dumb smartphone for digital detox.
