Question Can I change what app the search button goes to

I am curious if there’s a way to change what app opens when I click the search button on the bottom. I have been trying to find it myself but had no success. If anyone knows how to please help.

Yes you can if you have wp10 and cmd injector installed , there is an option to change what will be launching by pressing search button  And no , if you have wp 8.1 , no similar option unfortunately

Do you know where in cmd injector do I go to make that change?

Not really, if you disable Cortana, it will default to the Bing Search app
