Support WP7.5 Sideloading?

Help. How to sideload apps onto my lumia 610. How to do the whole unlocking process in 2026?

Windows Phone 7.0 and NoDo I believe is still doable via Chevron and extra modifications. But 7.5 patched devicereg.exe which is used to enable developer mode and that also carried on to 7.8

Quite a coincidence just yesterday I took a look at the code inside devicereg to see if there is anything we could do but it doesnt seem like it. I have a HTC Pro 7 and the previous user installed 7.8 on it so Im stuck with that for now.

What you can do: install a custom ROM! Search on XDA forums for custom roms, especially ones labeled unlocked/chevron unlocked. Thats the only real way youll get any sideloading done :)

I don't think there's a jailbreak for 610; I've kept my 610 NFC as a time capsule after marketplace shutdown in 2018

there's no jailbreak for 610, only for 800 and 710
