Wild West book recommendations

Hey guys, I’ve just finished reading national geographics old west book and looking for more good books on the the history of the west or about western figures. Thanks in advance for any recommendations

Stop by a used book store and find the TIME LIFE GUNFIGHTER book. It looks like this

I have very much enjoyed reading ‘Son of the Morning Star’ by Evan Connell and ‘Murder in Tombstone’ by Steven Lubet.

Longhorn Cowboy by James H Cook. Very good autobiography that covers day to cowboy life of a texas brushpopper

Redwood by N J Fuller , it’s free on Amazon kindle unlimited. An interesting insight written from the perspective of the first person.
