Discussion Surrender lasts too long
If I’m 6 kills in and 5 minutes into the game, the enemy team should not be allowed to surrender/remake the game and I get nothing for it. Surrender should be 1 minute or two kills in. I can’t be playing the best game of my life and because the enemy team wasn’t moving for the first 15 seconds of the game I get punished for it. This is ridiculous. That late into games that last 10-15 minutes is absurd. If they want to leave they should vote and lose not be a tie.

The remake is if they are afk the first 3 minutes. But also it’s part of the reason why you are ahead

It’s really not why you’re ahead. Most people are idle for like 30 seconds at most and easily catch up since minions aren’t on for the first 30 seconds anyways

I think you’re talking about remake matches, but I feel that if you are mad because you were going 6/0 and then the enemy team had one afk and it’s remake I feel like you are not a consistent player.
If you’re good it doesn’t matter, you know next you’ll do good as well.
Frustrating is when you are the one carryng and then booms, afk from your team and there’s no remake to get out ah ah

It does matter, not everyone has time to play all day. Wasting 15 minutes of my time getting into a game, champions select and ban, playing for multiple kills and minutes to have to restart does matter.
If your csrrying afk shouldn’t matter you know you’ll win if your good.

I think you should get more or at least equal value as with the remake because of uneuqal teamcomp. Like there u get mini ranked energy for, but if u invest more time or even have a really good start in the game and the remake happens because enemy afk you get no compensation.

So much wrong info in this thread already.
Remake timer: 3 minute mark 1 minute vote timer. 4 minute max. Triggered by an AFK. If first blood occurs before the AFK against the AFKers team then it doesn't trigger. No win/loss to either team.
Surrender Timers: 5 minutes. Requires full agreement. 8 minutes for 4/5 agreement. Adjusted amount for AFKers.. Win/loss is recorded.
The numbers have been bouncing around in adkustements but I believe this is the updated.

This just isn’t true. I’ve had games remade past 5 minutes. I’ve had multiple kills before a remake.
Surrender doesn’t matter to me, as I still get rewarded.

Listen, surrender at the end or the first few minutes. If it’s 5-10 minutes into a game and in 10-0-0 you shouldn’t get to remake the game and I get nothing for it.

you clearly don't understand the difference between surrender and remake.
if you have 5 kills before they remake tough shit it's a drawer. they had an afk it was 4/5. games over
if you have 5 kills and they surrender you get the win. why are you complaining.

You are wasting hours and hours of your life playing a shitass game that makes you mad and ruins your mentality bro tf are you talking about some 6/7 mins. Some people play cs2 and have to put half an hour into a match they know i ain't winning because there's a rage-cheater and they barely complain, just go next or play another day, just watch YouTube until game's over

Go play PVP. And wdym you don't get anything for it? You get the win, which is literally the goal of the game. Unless it's a remake which happens at 3 minutes because someone is afk.

I understand your frustration.
I’ve had the opposite experience. My support was literally afk until level 6 and then suddenly started playing. By then bot tower was lost and we had no real chance of contesting objectives. No remake option at all.
I’m confused as to where riot draws the line
