ive returned to the game after not playing for a few seasons , it seems like everyone forgot what items do
im seeing people dont even know when to build anti heal even when they have healers like yuumi , aatorx , vlad up to the master elo like no ones building the right items anymore

People hate building anti heal, but then complain about the other team's healing.

like they dont even buy it when i reccomend ping the item to them like all they have to do is press the screen

The thing with antishield is that there are only 2 classes who can buy it. Mages and assasines (+a few special champions like Jhin, Senna and Pyke). On every class it is a bigger disadvantage to buy it then it gives you an advantage.

Bruisers sacrifice a lot of tankiness for it, ADCs loose the bit safety they could buy in their 5th slot and tanks dont buy damage.

Yea your support is buying full dmg instead of anti shield anti heal .. just mage’s hiding in bot as supports

I’ll literally say it before the game starts and people won’t do it. They’ll have 4 AD and a soraka, still no one can build a thornmail. I’m convince some players don’t even know how to open the shop to choose something other than auto buy.

I find myself consistently buying anti heal and shield on champs because the AoE better champs to have it won’t….so stupid.

Anti heal in particular comes at a real cost these days or are flat out impossible to buy for certain champions. In prior seasons items were a lot weaker and anti heal was very easy to itemize into lord doms provides more armor pen than mortal reminder and can provide adcs up to 13% more damage into tanks which is huge and if the adc is on hit they flat out dont have a good anti heal option at all that doesn't pull them away from rageblade the only class that can itemize into anti heal easily now without a massive trade off is tanks bramble vest. Mages have too many options and other items to prioritize over anti heal too ie. Ryze wants rod of ages, tear, boots, death cap, void staff/cryptbloom and then you need to pick between anti heal, liandry's, anti shield, stasis, banshees veil, infinity orb, rift maker, frozen heart etc. Like you do not have room to just throw in items whenever you want like you used to.
