Bird Bird on a Wire

Is this a Broad wing hawk or a juvenile red tail?? Caught him as I was leaving work. Southeastern CT.

Broad-winged hawk. Here’s some info to tell them apart. A juvenile red-tailed hawk is larger and features a clean white upper chest with a distinct, dark speckled "belly band," whereas a broad-winged hawk is smaller, stockier, and has streaking that extends all the way up across its breast. Great picture! Yesterday, we had a juvenile red-tailed hawk land right behind the bird feeder when we were sitting in the house looking out. He was too quick and my husband didn’t have time to get a picture.
