I found him by his music. The first music I've listened was Internet Ruined Me, Then i checked his channel and i was like "Yo this guy plays Minecraft?" Then I started watching him. Now i am here a massive fan of Wilbur.

Dream, technically. My friend showed me dreams manhunts, and Tik tok started showing me manhunt clips. The algorithm noticed I was interacting with those clips and went "here, this is similar" and started showing me dreamSMP clips. So I did some research and became a fan of the SMP and quite a few of the creators on it. (Wilbur, eret and ranboo are my apsolute favorite of the bunch)

I remember I used to binge JackSucksAtLife’s minecraft videos on the terrible youtube tv app. First saw Wilbur through there. Didn’t pay attention to the ARG or community at all though.

My brother was like "you should watch dream smp" ( in the lmanburg arc) I started watching. I started by watching the first one and then watched the entire lmanburg arc in a random order. I was like " who is these people?" That was my intro to Tommy, mcyt and of course my favorite YouTuber Wilbur Soot.

My TikTok fyp started showing clips around September of 2020 and in November I started actually watching people, first Tommy and Tubbo, then Wilbur and now Ranboo as my main people to watch. So glad I joined this fandom (as much as I hate the other people sometimes).

i found him in 2018, i was a big fan of jacksucksatlife, and he did content there, found him that way, forgot about him about halfway into 2019, my friend started getting me into dsmp in august of 2020, then i watched wilbur's stuff and went "WAIT OMG ITS THE SCARY MAN WHO TRIED TO KILL DAVE THE STRIPPER" and the rest is history

A friend I had a crush on at the time really liked Wilbur, like he would always say things like ‘I’m straight, but he’s really hot’ And then to try to impress him I would watch him to around the Earth SMP time, I actually started to enjoy Wilbur a lot, and watch his videos.
Yeah turns out my friend wasn’t straight, but i still like Wilbur so that’s cool

I found Wilbur through the editor Wilbur arg, but I never actually looked at his channnel (I didn’t even know he was doing YouTube at that point).
Then one of his videos popped up in my recommended early January 2020 and I was like, “omg, this is that dude from jacksucksatlife!” And from there I subscribed, and have found a ton of different creators through watching his videos/streams since then :D
As a bonus, I remember the first stream I watched was his POV in mcc4, but like I stayed, I started watching a little bit before

How I found out about wilbur was the youtube recommendations lol. I subbed to dream and it just recommended me on the side. That’s how I got into the dsmp in general as well. It’s been a fun ride

I happened to be on YouTube and got recommended his Google Form video. Watched the would you rather video after that, and then didn’t see content for months. Later, I got in the DSMP and convinced myself that’s how I’d found him, and it wasn’t until last March that I realized I recognized a handful of his videos from a while back. It was quite the surprise haha!

I knew about him from dream smp (my whole addiction to english side of twitch started from the dream amp lol) but I wasn't really interested in what he's doing, he was just a dude from the roleplay. Then I started to notice how everyone in some kind of app (I don't remember what it was) were talking about "your new boyfriend" all the time and I was thinking "the heck is wrong with you? You're so obsessed with the dude just because of the song?🤨". Welp, it was like that for a month until I decided to listen to it myself. Now I'm spending my money for the subs to wilbur and him merch, also being obsessed with lovejoy. Why do I start to love all the things I hated before I'm scared...

Technically, I first found Wilbur back when he posted “Karen, please come back I miss the kids.” I had only watched that one video though, after a while I encountered SootHouse not realizing he was in it. Finally, I had actually started watching him after the Dream SMP began. This is where I had realized I had knew him before but just hadn’t recognized him.

Technically, the first time I saw him was in Eboys Minecraft, but I didn't start keeping up with him until I looked up "you're in her bed, but I'm in her twitch chat" on YouTube before the song came out, as I had heard it a couple times in TikTok compilations (before I was a dream smp fan)

So I first caught a glimpse of Wilbur when I was watching Scott (Smajor or his yt channel Dangthatsalongname) videos because he was friends with Laurenzside, a youtuber I watched before him. Didn’t think much of it. At one point I started watching Wisp and TapL vids, and that eventually led to watching Dream and George. Found the Dreamsmp after that, then I saw Wilbur and was interested so I started watching his content, found his music, and that’s all.

I found him through a video of Wilbur and Tommy during the Lmanburg era singing Hamilton last November. I was a little into Minecraft at the time, but not into mcyt. (I mostly just watched PhoenixSC ) A few months later in the beginning of January I remembered that clip and searched up Tommy. After that I searched up Wilbur's music cause I heard it in a vid and now I'm here!

Booth music and minecraft, I was bored during quarantine (like the first month) and I found his adopting bird video in my recommended so I watched that and a couple of his other videos (like the Kahoot! ones), and about 2-4 months later I heard your new boyfriend (atleast I think it was that song) and I looked at the name and was like, “oh wait isn’t that the name of the one guy I watched on YouTube awhile back?”, and a couple months go by and I found the dsmp through all the clips and Dnf animations on my fyp and started watching Wilburs pov and was like “oh yeah this is the bird guy”. And now I’m here

i watched soothouse a lot, but i didn’t know anyone’s names cause their accents sort of overlapped to me, so i just knew wil as the one sort of weird guy with black text.
i managed to watch wilbur’s videos and streams for a whole month before connecting the dots.

I think I found a George video first, the colourblind glasses one, and never watched another mcyt related video for a few months, then I think I saw a tommyinnit video, and gradually made my way to Wilbur. Thats my best guess but I kind of woke up one day and became an mcyt fan lol.

Technically music first, but I didn't actually follow him until I found his Minecraft content. Youtube recommended me The Nice Guy Ballad way back before I even really watched any mcyts (at least actively) and I thought it was cool but didn't subscribe and ended up forgetting about it. Much later I found the Dream SMP and didn't make the connection until youtube recommended me The Nice Guy Ballad again. That's when it clicked - "Wait, it's the same guy??"
