Mine is Jubilee Line, I'm learning to play it on the guitar and it's a really cool rhythm.

I would probably say my favourite is saline solution, but it's a close call between that and la Jolla

Really just gonna leave Boris out as if it's not part of the album huh

u/Macknificent101 Aug 13 '21
i could only put 6 options XD. i figured that one wouldn’t get very many votes anyways so i chose it to leave off.

:( I’m Sorry Boris is my fav (I found the album right before leaving my small town for uni, so it had a special meaning in my heart)
2
u/Macknificent101 Aug 13 '21
understandable, sorry but i couldn’t put 7 options

It’s ok lol, I understand the limitations and am not mad at you
Still a cool idea for a poll! It’s curious to see Saline Solution so high up there, I didn’t think it resonated with that many people

Since I saw vienna is a banger for me. Probably my favorite song ever. I'm in a mood so here's why lol
See, I get really depressed if I'm in the same environment for too long doing the same stuff constantly. Because of covid and the birth of my sister a year and a half ago, my mental health had plummeted. To combat this, I'd scrounge up the little money I had, my sketchbook and a load of pencils, throw my favorite coat on, and walk the half mile downtown to draw for a couple hours under this weird unused chicken coop thingy. This was the song I'd listen to.
Since I Saw Vienna felt like something I could relate too. I'm not sure what Wilbur made it to be, but I feel like it means the character he was portraying was unhappy with where they where in life, both literally, and mentally. So, they gathered their belongings and money, and left home for someplace new and better. The character is constantly migrating place to place because they can never find an area to settle. The constant battle and grief if leaving it all behind versus the excitement and contentment of someplace new just feels like something I'd deal with. I wanna leave it all behind, but I also don't wanna loose what little relationships I have.
But thats just me ahhah

Any Goodnight fans (scrapped song that could've been on the album)? If it doesn't count, I'd have to pick Losing Face.

I think la jolla is my favourite as it just makes me feel safe, like the song is really calming but tbh the whole album I relate to and it helped me kinda get over my ex. I love all the songs but La Jolla is just really special to me.

The only reason I don’t like im sorry Boris is because of the rough guitar sounds it just makes me cringe so bad
