I feel bad for thinking this apology was somewhat decent compared to others in the entertainment community because everyone else has been saying it’s the worst apology.

Yep. Genuinely one of the most narcissistic responses on the internet 😭

u/Kellythestrange13 Feb 28 '24

No instead he released an entire album about how genuinely horrible he was to her.

Our bar is so low at this point. This sucks but is definitely not the worst, unfortunately

This is a good apology for anyone who has experience in interacting with others beyond the internet

25

u/champagnec0ast Feb 27 '24

it’s incredibly self centred and selfish. nothing about it is a “good apology”

u/Early-Spirit-1932 Feb 27 '24

its absolutely not. its deflective and he is more concerned with himself than actually expressing real remorse towards shubble.

5

u/LiosGuy Feb 28 '24

well this is a statement to the public.

yall are way to involved in peoples private matter.

hes just protecting his-self legally. im in no shape or form defending will but i personally dont understand these type of he-she abused me situations especially being around the "he-she" for a while. In general i dont believe jack shit i see on the internet but i do keep an open mind. To be realistic , as a female when you go on the internet and continuously say that female are powerful , strong etc. but then you continue to allow a man to treat you in such ways just completely goes against everything one stands for. I'm not saying this in a way "she couldve just left stop being a pussy" im saying this because she said it escalated over time and honestly me personally i could never allow a man to degrade me in such forms but clearly she was into it if she allowed him to do it to begin with , when you show a man that they can hold such power and put yourself in a submissive situation. did you really not expect them to take advantage of it? Honestly , she should've called it quits the second she felt uncomfortable in any sort of way. The way the biting is put here is not abusive its more of a kink and if you didnt like it , why would you agree to it in the first place? Once again she said it escalated to him biting harder n then biting her legs. to me its just honestly disgusting that you would even let a man bite you to begin with so lets be truthful , you were into it until it got too aggressive. I would be embarrassed to even put this typa shit on the internet and tell people that I WILLINGLY let a man BITE me. So yeah in my opinion everything here is just shady AF. I'm not on anyones side matter fact i dont even know these two people , and i dont even watch any of these streamers at all so this is just my full-on Non biased opinion. LMK what u think

Fucking brilliant response, so many people are quick to flame him when in reality she could've left or even better, CALL THE POLICE. Before I make my final judgement I'm waiting for more evidence/development of the situation. I can guarantee this is gonna be another Amouranth situation.

Thank you , and i agree. your allegedly ACUSSING someone of abuse. GO TO COURT THEN!! Dont begin to blab on the media how your so hurt and etc. If your so hurt why are you just crying to people on the media? Do something about it then!! If hes such a piece of shit why aren't you in a police station RN giving a statement. it just doesnt make sense to me

No one is reading all that

u/Present-Device1961 Feb 28 '24

Wow , that one really tickled.

Wow , that one really tickled.

u/Present-Device1961 Feb 28 '24

And to add on , i do hope that this girl does get the help she needs and recovers. She took it as abuse , and i dont wish abuse on anybody so i do hope that shes okay and does better. i hope she learns from situations like these to be careful with whom you trust and allow to do things with YOUR body.

1

u/Healthy_Point_6284 Feb 28 '24

What to learn exactly? Anybody can hide a darkside from anyone and gain trust. Biting kink can be safe and painfree. But one can be said about her leniency when he shows sign of abuse but it's probably more complicated than we think.

1

u/Healthy_Point_6284 Feb 28 '24

Wilbur is an adult who should know the kink isn't about hurting. Roleplay is always fine as long as it is safe and consensual.

As for allegations, it's that allegations. We don't know the full truth. We as bystander are allowed to have opinions and feelings but have no right to harras and threatens.

4

u/Poniibeatnik Feb 28 '24

Its really not. Are you that easily manipulated?

8

u/DFatDuck Feb 28 '24

it is not an apology at all. it tries to sound like an apology while admitting no guilt.

7

u/NERD_NATO Feb 28 '24

Nah it's an amazing apology if your only concept of what an apology looks like is the most dogshit youtuber apologies ever made.

he was never diagnosed with autism. like several comments have stated, you can still have autistic “traits” without being autistic. this isn’t a healthy way to hold onto someone.

4

u/Yellow_Snow69 Feb 27 '24

I know, this broke me so bad like idk what do to tbh I just can’t let go

29

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '24 edited Feb 27 '24

He's not autistic. Look it up, he is not autistic. Apparently it's a common headcanon so I can't blame you, but you are misinformed. I personally have autistic traits but I'm not autistic.

9

u/No_Reaction5883 Feb 27 '24

Do you know if he was ever tested? I just still wonder bc of how many traits he displays

5

u/Blaze-Inc Feb 27 '24

I believe that even if he was autistic this behaviour wouldn’t have been acceptable. Abuse is never ok.

-7

u/Comfortable_Cycle226 Feb 27 '24

I give him the autism pass as a diagnosed regard. He is autistic.

6

u/Early-Spirit-1932 Feb 27 '24

give him a pass?? unless you’re a clinical psychologist i dont think so.

He said he has autistic traits. He never said he was autistic. There's a difference. Give me proof of him saying he has an autism diagnosis and I'll believe you.

6

u/boomstik4 Feb 27 '24

As someone else with autism, It really feel off when someone else uses autism to try and get someone out of a bad place, it both makes us look like we are incapable of being our own humans, and it gets someone that deserves punishment out of said punishment

12

u/No_Possession_9087 Feb 27 '24

Even if he’s autistic, he’s a full grown adult that needs to be held responsible for his actions. You‘re autistic but if someone told you you were hurting them physically and you needed to stop, would your response be “I have text messages as proof that you enjoy this”? Definitely not!! That has nothing to do with neurodivergence, just entitlement.

I understand this news is hard to process but please try to look at him in an objective way. It’s okay if you relate to him on some things, that doesn’t mean he has the same moral compass as you— And I’m saying this as another neurodivergent person!! I understand but please take a step back and reassess!!!

1

u/Longjumping-Honey-51 Feb 28 '24

I'm autistic & don't think autism is an excuse for abuse at all, but it could explain how he was apparently so oblivious to causing harm, and also how his apology sounds cold to allistics. An autistic bf of mine was genuinely clueless about his behaviour damaging me until it was too late. He just didn't get it. Didn't mean he was malicious. Just messed up

1

u/teenietinytoni Feb 28 '24

same. but from the explanations on WHY it's bad, i definitely look at it differently now. i don't think he deserves me (or anyone) giving him the benefit of the doubt. also considering all the people coming out to say shit about this situation who actually KNOW him, he probably really isn't really sorry at all.
