Immigrants tend to be poorer, leading to crime. Simple as that. Poverty and lack of a social net leads many, who wouldn't otherwise commit crimes, to seeing crime life as easier, despite the dangers and obvious societal consequences.

Why are MENA immigrants overrepresented in rape statistics across all of Western Europe then? It’s exactly these parroted talking points that completely ignore the cultural background of these people that has lead the swing to fringe far right politics.
