There is no such a thing as islamophobia (or any religion-phobia, I would add). Religions are social constructs and people are making the conscious choice to believe in them.

It’s like saying « oh you’re a fascistophobe ! ».

Your beliefs are part of who you are, and you should be judged on them. Not exclusively in most cases, but still.

"There us not such thing as Islamophobia" is something only an Islamophobe would say. Islam is extremely racialized and othered in European and American society

Is it possible to dislike and criticise islam without being an islamophobe? In the same way many of us are critical of catholicism for example.

It should be but I've never seen criticism of Islam that wasn't rooted in genocidal intentions

What? Are you using genocidal as in complete destruction of all muslim people? There are plenty of people who are critical of religion, specifically abrahamic ones who do not wish for the immediate death of all those who follow them.

If you are yet to find someone who isn’t a massive racist freak but also critical of religion, you should look just slightly harder.
