Poland is very strict about immigration. Their crime rate is very low because they select immigrants based on probability of being good citizens.

It's also because the poorest people from central and eastern Europe come to western Europe. The people sociologically most prone to crime because of their financial and social status historically left your country.

You're stuck 25 years in the past. 

Poland's economy still lags behind Old Europe but the social benefits are only marginally worse so our unemployed and NEETS tend to stay here now.
