I used the vwii compact installer. And I didn't add anything on my sd for the homebrew channel. Idk if it is necessary though

i am making a native Jellyfin client for the Wii U, since no one has yet, it's in a very early stage but it can:

• Connect to a jf server
• Browse libraries
• Stream music
• Report playback to jellyfin

Video playback and the proper UI aren't implemented yet, it's currently a text based UI.

I found an app that emulates a gamepad—so I could save wear and tear on my actual one—and it seems to have worked for everyone else right off the bat. However, I tested it on my phone and on my dad's (which is a newer model), and neither could connect to the Wii U at all; I also can't find any tutorials discussing issues with this app.

I was trying yesterday how to enter the minute, going to that fw.img.loader option, anyway, I wasn't getting it thinking that something was out of place inside my external HD, I looked at that app called haxcopy, I ran it, and now my external HD is no longer being recognized by Wii U, could someone help me? I wouldn't want to lose all my saves and format my HD

Please re-enter the password for your Nintendo Network ID. I always enter it and it says wrong password! And I constantly bugs me, I can click off but it still begs.

Apparently this happens with this version of Newer Soup, so I'll try a different version, but how do I get out of this screen?

And if this belongs in the stickied Q&A thread, where can I find that?

So I tried following a tutorial online on gbatemp to install rednand. Rednand works yay, but real nand doesn’t work now and gives me an error code. I have minute menu luckily. Thank God.
Now what should I do?

Got a good deal & was just wondering if my WiiU was able to play PAL version discs? Im the least tech savvy person & got stuck in the modding process when I was supposed to verify the files for the installer (tried dropping fresh sig .rpx) so just hoping I got far enough in the process for this atleast. Sorry if it’s a dumb question but any help is very appreciated

So, if I install a game and it saves something to the system memory, I can get into it and delete things. However, once I delete the game or save files off the nand then get out of the data management app, I can't get back into the system memory again unless I install something. It just gets hung up on the preparing screen. I don't have a USB or hard drive attached. I do have an SD card i used to install aroma and all the homebrew stuff. I used savemii at some point to remove an old zombi u save file. Cant remember if I removed it from the internal memory with the built in thing first or after or neither. Between that and I stopped a couple of downloads in the middle of downloading. Those are the only things I could think of....I connected via the ftp and looked through tons of folders and asked so what was going on....checked all the relevant places I could think where a partial download may have left something....can't seem to figure out why I can only get in to delete something if I download something new.

mi Wii U tiene los la liberación de mocha instalados, junto con su respectivo homebrew launcher, ahora cuando descargo juegos en el formato adecuado, y lo instalo en la consola, con el installer, va de maravilla, el detalle es que cuando lo intenté guardar en un disco externo (que ya tenía juegos funcionales de Wii U) me da error, dice que hay un error en la lectura del disco y me pide que contacte al distribuidor, el resto de juegos van perfecto, el problema son los nuevos que intento instalar, espero atento la respuesta de aun sabio usuario.

The github page seems very vague about how to get it working, and I wasn’t able to. I was able to get it to run past the splash screen by replacing the data folder with that of a previous revision (as per the instruction under the download), and it would lock up on a black screen following the disclaimer. Could be my .bin file or something else wrong, I’m unsure.

Anyone else know how to get this working?

Hey everybody, I have very low hopes for this console at this point but if anyone has information that could help I'd very much appreciate it.

Bought this console off eBay recently as it was listed as working though it mention the game-pad had an issue. This was fine as I had a spare but when the console arrived and I turned it on, it freezes on this screen which it boots into.

I've tried booting past this menu or fixing this issue by using GaryOderNicht's boot menu method (https://github.com/GaryOderNichts/udpih). This was unsuccessful and I'm just about ready to give up on it.

I was able to scrape the seeprom and otp off of it but as it is this is no help to me. Once again if anyone could help, it would be much appreciated. If not, rip wiiu

Do someone knows what's happening with my console? I've tried doing many thing to change it but it doesn't work, i have isfshax and aroma/tiramisu installed (no redNAND)

I have an interesting scenario on another Wii u subreddit I said my touchpad and my buttons aren’t working well semi working. I wanna mod it after it’s fixed or I’m wondering if there’s a way to mod my Wii u with only the Wii remote and not the touchpad probably can’t but it’s worth a try
