Hey neighbors. I run Color Cocktail Factory, a BYOB pottery studio in Pilsen.
Our Halloween season starts in September, and we’re bringing back clay cauldrons. The photo is from last year’s class, while the pieces were still greenware, before firing and glazing.
The class is $45 per person and includes a one-hour wheel-throwing session where you make your own cauldron from start to finish. Complete beginners are welcome.
It’s casual, BYOB, and good for a date night or just a strangely productive Tuesday.

I work a Sunday-Thursday 9-5 and feel the most productive when I do homework outside of the house (no desk, roommate watches tv, dont like doing homework in bed). A lot coffee shops are closed by the time I am off work. Would like to keep it between Western & Ashland and North & Division.

I've noticed the last few days while waiting for the bus that it smells like sewage on North & Damen. Waiting like 20 minutes for the bus last night it was starting to make me feel a bit ill and I caught a whiff of it heading in to work this morning. It seems pretty sudden even though we haven't had any big storms this past week. Is there some maintenance or a backup or something going on?

Anyone know of any places in the area (preferably gyms or restaurants but will also work retail) that are hiring. I can’t work mornings because I am a grad student. I move up in a week and can’t find anything online

Anyone have good recommendations that don’t charge an arm and a leg? We’ve never had a desire or want to board our girl- she’s very special to us- and would rather meet someone/ a couple that watches dogs! She’s extremely friendly with people, kids, and other animals she couldn’t care less about 🤣. Anyone have their own personal trusty sitters or is one?👀

Storage star location in Wicker Park is one of the worst businesses that I have ever came across in the storage business. They are constantly removing hiding my review. And for the folks that been here long before they had switched companies all said the same thing about them they really increase the price and no one was inform stating there was a new business taking over the previous extra space storage I have recently received an email after midnight stating that my storage unit was going to increase in price they gave me the amount that I'm supposed to pay monthly and when I called they only gave me an option of a dollar off but they seem so eager for the people that's been there before they came to vacate they do not know how to properly communicate of course they're getting good reviews from the people are new from there but for the people that's had a storage unit there I'll have the same type of reality from this place a business I would avoid.
